Before Len & I married, Lens family had been involved with the breed Wirehaired Fox terriers. When we married our interest was not only with the Terriers but also turned toward the Working Breeds.

The Leanzak team have been showing for over twenty years. Breeds shown are Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Rottweilers and Pug. Whilst showing Pugs we feel in love with the Lowchen, and have been actively involved ever since.

Len has served on the Lowchen Club committee for eight years continuously. During this time has been the Clubs Treasurer, and ending his service with the club as the CHAIRMAN 2006-2007.
Len judged the Lowchen club show 25-2-2007, ending his term on this high note.
He has had much pleasure during these years, seeing many new members both join the club and indeed progress and in turn becoming committee members themselves.

Stan was our first winning show Lowchen, amongst his many wins are B.O.S. at the Lowchen Club open show August 2000.Champ show 1st’s even being placed first at CRUFTS and being considered for the res.cc on that occasion. He represented the breed on three separate occasions at the very prestigious (super match) an event that was by invitation only. He was b.o.b many times at open show and won groups 1,2, and 3. Also taking best in show and res. Best in show.

Goldie was the top winning Lowchen of 1997&1998. she went on to win with her handler John Richardson 8ccs & 8resccs. Along the way projected herself into breed history by winning more Group placing than ANY other Lowchen EVER! In the U.K.

FOR THIS WE ARE ETERNALLY GRATEFUL.
Goldie was the LAST pure bred bitch of Anne’s Hanovarian line.

It was with Anne’s approval & blessing that the two above Lowchen be mated to produce Polly. On her first outing won 2nd in puppy being beaten only by the cc winner on the day also a puppy. On her second outing at the age of only 9 months best puppy in breed and res.CC. Polly is playing an essential part of our breeding program.
Puppies hopefully in the near future.

Sissy is the first champion we made up in the breed. 3CCs. And 4 res.CCs. Making us extremely proud on her res.cc at CRUFTS.
She is now retired, but she has passed on her stunning prettiness and femineity to her two daughters seen below.

Carmen is in every way a show off! She loves the attention and blossomed in the ring. She was the breeds TOP winning PUPPY Ch. Shows & TOP winning PUPPY Open shows for the year 2006.
She has gone on to win in the older classes and will be in the ring again after her maternal duties are over.

Gigi, is our first Black & Cream in the show ring. Again she like her half sister is going to be an extrovert. Hopefully like her mother and sister, she will go on to make us proud .
